In re Conservatorship of Wendland, 93 Cal.Rptr.2d 550 (2/4/2000) (review granted) - amicus brief submitted on the standard applied by the court in determining the power of a court appointed guardian.

Malee Bureerong, et al. v. Tavee Uvawas, et al., 922 F.Supp. 1450 (C.D.CA 1996)- certain causes of action in a slave labor case were dismissed based upon legislative history analysis without leave to amend as against alleged indirect manufacturer employers in the first reported decision to interpret whether a private right of action exists under certain California wage and hour statutes.

Malee Bureerong, et al. v. Tavee Uvawas, et al., 167 F.R.D. 83 (C.D.CA 1996)- allowing the government to interplead and staying discovery in the civil actions during criminal investigation and prosecution of the individual defendants.

In re NSB Film Corp., 160 Bankr.Rep. 151 (Bankr.C.D.CA 1993)- debtor's agreement that its distributor should pay profit participation funds to third parties was unenforceable in bankruptcy and payment thereunder was an avoidable preference.
